"Is he, or is he not?" Barack Hussein Obama: Christian or Muslim?

When I was a kid during the 1950's there were rumors in Hollywood and therefore the entire USA, that Rock Hudson was a homosexual, a "queer." To watch him in his movies one would see him as a "man's man," not a homosexual, but a very manly male. He was big, tall, good looking, and he co-starred with some of Hollywood's hottest female stars, he also co-starred with Doris Day. And in the midst of all the rumors, he got married.

Rock Hudson's wife was a real shocker to his fans. She was ugly, plain, old and motherly. Rumor then had it that it was an "arranged marriage" to cover his homosexuality and protect the financial investment his agent and others had in Rock. And now history and the late Rock's own words have proven the rumors true.

Then there were the rumors buzzing around Liberace, if you can call them "rumors." No one had any difficulty imagining him as a queer. Liberace screamed homosexuality. And quite frankly, he was just so lovable that no one really cared if he was. The rumors persisted throughout his life as they did with Rock and were eventually proven to be true as well. With Liberace the old adage "if it walks like a duck..." was on the money.

There were legitimate reasons to suspect that Rock Hudson and Liberace were homosexuals. After all, there were many people in Hollywood who always knew the truth about these two male stars as well as others. And there were times when these two men along with other Hollywood homosexuals would get together (not Rock and Liberace together) and romp about their homes doing whatever their little hearts desired. There were indeed reasons to suspect that they were homosexual.

If a male star is found to be homosexual today it will probably mean the end of his career; Hollywood is hypocritical, promoting homosexuality on the screen and turning its back on stars who "come out." Hollywood agents and producers know that the American public will not go to a movie about a hot romance played by a man who would rather be with another man than the woman he romances on the big screen. Ellen Degeneres had a big flop with her little excursion to the big screen as a heterosexual female. And didn't the rumors fly about her before she came out!

Now there are rumors of a different and more serious kind buzzing around about Barack Hussein Obama's affiliations, associations, and religion. While he protests that he is a Christian, the rumors persist that he is a Muslim. And there are legitimate reasons to suspect that he is in fact a Muslim.

First, he is associated with Islam on account of his father who was a Muslim. And this according to Muslim law and practice makes Obama a Muslim.

Second, Obama attended a Muslim school when he was very young.

Third, he joined a racist association, a "church" if you will, led by an extremist who if not a member of the Nation of Islam is a strong supporter of that organization and a Muslim sympathizer. This is helpful from Debbie Shlussel

Fourth, Obama remained an active member of Jeremiah Wright's hate spewing racist congregation for 20 years.

Fifth, the infamous picture of him dawning Muslim garb.

Sixth, Barack Hussein Obama's popularity among Asian Muslims including the notorious Hamas.

Seventh, his inability to openly and convincingly deny that he is a Muslim. Saying "I am a Christian" isn't convincing knowing the practice of equivocation among Muslims.

Eigth, his monumental gaffe in his televised interview where he clearly said "My Muslim faith."

Ninth, his highly publicized associations with the terrorists Ayers and leaders of CAIR, the Counsel on American and Islamic Relationships.

Tenth, his support among Muslims in the US who are actively getting minorities to register to vote in this election when they have never voted before.

Eleventh, Obama's socialism is favorable to Islam where Marxism and even communism are more acceptable than democracy. For more info on Marxism and socialism among Muslims, see Karen Armstrong's book "Islam" and "The BeliefNet Guide to Islam" by Hassaballa and Helminski.

Twelfth, the fact that Obama has never been executed for apostasy for leaving Islam is either evidence that he is yet a Muslim and Muslims know it and know what he is about. Or he has never been a Muslim.

I am not saying with any absolute conviction that Barack Hussein Obama is a Muslim. I am saying there are legitimate reasons to suspect that he is.

Silence these rumors, Obama. Deny or repudiate Islam. Confess that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, God incarnate. That He was "God with us" and that He was crucified for your sins, dead, buried and resurrected from the dead. Has Jesus Christ come in the flesh, Barack?

Barack Hussein Obama, you do walk like a duck.

For some important info you will not find in the liberal media, see this. And this, wow!

Oh, my. What an inane post. First, does it matter if Obaman is a Muslim? What if he was an atheist? Would that matter? He's running for president, his religious views should be irrelevant.

Secondly, he's not a Muslim. He is a Christian. The church he attends, which you refer to in your post, is a Christian church. And before you blast what its pastor said, maybe you should consider the terrible way African-Americans have been treated in the past. The days of Jim Crow laws aren't that long ago. In fact, in several states, it was illegal for people of different races to marry as late as the 1960s.

Enjoy the debate tonight. And try to remember: In the United States it doesn't matter what religion you are. Thank God -- or whatever else you may pray to -- for that!

Dan,

"Try to remember?" I have never forgotten. But our times are not like any times our nation has ever known. For Islam in America, it does indeed matter what religion you are. You perhaps should bone up on your Islam.

"His religious views should be irrelevant." Rather naive, don't you think? What should be but isn't and what actually is are clearly two objects that cannot occupy the same space at the same time. His religion is relevant whether you like it or not. His past, his church and his associations have made it relevant. That's why everyone is talking about it. And we do have the freedom to question and probe and think out loud.

Religion has been relevant in the US in every presidential election since our beginning because America is a religious nation. And with the war on terror brought to our shores on 9/11 by radical Islamists, religion is more relevant now than ever. This is why there are so many persistent rumors and fears about Obama's true religion.

While there is no religious test for the office of president as determined by our Constitution, thank God, and the Executive is only one branch of our government, the ideology of Islam as voiced by radical Islamists on our very shores who wish to see the caliphate in the White House, gives one legitimate cause to be concerned. The Islamists have made religion more relevant in this campaign than any I can remember.

Islam is the enemy of democracy and freedom. We have every reason to be concerned about possibly putting a Muslim in the White House or even a Muslim sympathizer such as Obama. Along with Keith Ellison and his working in conjunction with CAIR as well as Muslims involved in "local" politics, we do need to rethink how we classify Islam. Is it a relgiion or a political system? And being that it is indeed an ideology whose heart is political, we must be careful that we do not "accomodate" ourselves out of our freedoms altogether.

Your logic behind your just pity for the African Americans' suffering in the past seems to say that it is just fine with you that Jeremiah Wright and his kind hate white people. Are you saying they have the right to hate us? Do the sins of our past give them the right to be hateful, prejudiced, biased, racists? Two wrongs make everything right? This is certainly a poor way to combat racism.

I was there during the Jim Crow days when there were drinking fountains outside of service stations marked "White" and "Colored." And I hated it even as a little white boy. I grew up in the South where I wasn't allowed to say "sir" to a "nigger." I sat in restaurants where I could see the "cage" where blacks had to enter to get their take-out dinners. It was horrible. And the things I saw were nothing compared to what the African Americans were going through. It is silly for me to even mention my white experience. I didn't suffer.

The obvious disdain for our nation the Obamas picked up at the UCC church in Chicago is shared by many other blacks. The Obama's loyalty is questionable. I and every American have the right to "blast what his pastor said" regardless of our sordid and sad past. Sympathy for the devil?

"Inane?" Please!

Dan,

Interesting site, by the way. Do you write for a living? I didn't visit your works at home site but I do find your line of work interesting.
